Viktor and Irene Schulz (third and second from the left) moved to the Tulsa area from Germany in 2000.
In 2011, Viktor Schulz began volunteering at a rehab facility in Missouri and what started as a small aquaponic greenhouse project for the rehab developed into a love for aquaponics. Ever since building a smaller scale greenhouse in Missouri, Viktor envisioned a larger scale facility. Years of research and design work went into making GreenerGrounds what it is today. The facility is breathtaking, with the majority of it custom built by Viktor to bring his vision to life.
The 28,000 square foot greenhouse can grow up to 200,000 heads of lettuce a year and 21,000lbs of tomatoes.
